Concert with Sebalter in Rio de Janeiro

The first time of the Band of Curumins in the wonderful city was remarkable. We were pleased to integrate together with the Swiss musician Sebalter the schedule of the Madrugada Project in the Center promoted by CCBB RJ.

A beautiful outdoor show in front of Pio X Square ending our concert series by XIX Settimana of the Week of the Italian language in the world.

Greater satisfaction even to be able to celebrate the end of this cycle with the incredible view of the viewpoint of Sugar Loaf and at the feet of Christ the Redeemer.

Realization of the Embassy of Switzerland Brasilia, Consulates General of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo

Concert with Sebalter at SESC Santo Amaro - São Paulo

For us it is always a pleasure to be in this space so committed to art. The second concert with the Swiss musician Sebalter by XIX Week of the Italian language in the world had a sensational energy!

We strongly thank the warm public who interacted with us from beginning to end. And of course, the immense joy of being together with singer and violinist Sebalter who granted us the opportunity to arrange some of the unreleased songs from his next album that will be entirely in Italian.

Immeasurable experience and satisfaction!

Realization of the Embassy of Switzerland Brasilia, Consulates General of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

Concert with Sebalter at the Swiss - Brazilian School of São Paulo

The Swiss-Brazilian School was a super host of the first show we did together with the Swiss musician Sebalter in commemoration of the XIX Week of the Italian language in the world.

It was a private show dedicated to students and their families where we present a repertoire based on songs of the band, unreleased songs from Sebalter's next album and classics of Brazilian music sung in Italian.

An evening of excitement, colors and a beautiful reception of all present.

Realization of the Embassy of Switzerland Brasilia, Consulates General of Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo.

Attention SP and RJ!!

We are coming up with an unique show along with the Swiss singer and violinist #Sebalter, which we have so much affection and appreciation!

The repertoire is beautiful! We weave with love the arrangements of italian songs from #Sebalter and also special versions of Brazilian songs.

The Swiss Embassy in Brazil and the Consulates General of Switzerland in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo celebrate in October the XIX week of the Italian language in the world and, in partnership with SESC São Paulo and CCBB Rio de Janeiro provide this incredible meeting.

Opening of the Congress at UNIFESP

The emotional and unforgettable opening of the Congresso Internacional e Interuniversitário against Child Poverty took place at the UNIFESP in São Paulo. Here is an excerpt from the text that accompanied the presentation:

“It is an honor for us, the Banda dos Curumins, to be here today with you at the opening of this important Congress with the topic of the eradication of child poverty. We would like to thank all the organizers for this opportunity.

[...] the Band, using the universal language of music, transmits messages of Peace and solidarity stimulating a change in the reality we live in, where the issues with health, education and youth necessities and the overall population favor a climate of violence and discrimination. It is a reality where children, women, the black people and other vulnerable people are the first victims of a system that privileges profit, treating human beings as disposable objects, condemning them to a live of material and oftentimes emotional poverty.

[...] Paz is the title of the third and last track that we will play. It is a composition by our professor Vilson Carlos Maria, a true hymn for life to leave all participant with a good omen and much inspiration during these days of congress, with the hope that we can go back to being better human beings and offer our talents to the less fortunate ones contributing to the realization of a more friendly world where children can have a future of truth.”
